Before you mount your Arlo Essential Indoor Camera on a wall, make sure you have found a location with strong signal strength.Note: Do not mount the camera until instructed to do so during the installation process.You need the following items to mount your Arlo Essential Indoor Camera:Power drill with a 15/64-inch (size B, 6mm) drill bitPhillips-head screwdriverPencilThe following items that came in the box with your camera:Mounting plateScrewsWall anchorsTo mount your Arlo Essential Indoor Camera (2nd Generation) on a wall:Using the mounting plate as a guide, mark pilot hole locations with a pencil.Use the marks as a guide for where to drill the pilot holes.Drill the pilot holes with a 15/64-inch (size B, 6mm) drill bit.Insert the wall anchors into the pre-drilled holes.With the arrow pointing up, align the mounting plate with the pre-drilled holes.Use the provided screws to secure the mounting plate to the wall.Unscrew the mount from the bottom of the camera and screw it into the back of the camera before mounting it to the wall.Align the camera with the mounting plate.Slide the camera onto the mounting plate to lock it into place.Test to make sure it feels secure and adjust the camera angle.
