It is now Canon’s turn to release its Webcam Utility (still in beta version) for the macOS (10.13, 10.14 and 10.15) to bring easy-to-use, plug and play, webcam-like functionality to select Canon cameras. (The Windows 10 version was already available back on April 28.) It converts select EOS Interchangeable Lens Cameras (ILC) and PowerShot cameras into a high-quality webcam through a simple USB connection to your computer. Both the EOS R and EOS RP mirrorless cameras are supported.
