About Python 3.7
Can easily get on Windows. it is available here: Python 3.7.9 32-bit. Please make sure you use the 32-bit version, even on 64-bit machines. If you have a package manager that can get python 3.7, you may also use that.If you have another version of python installed, it is highly recommended you install py when you go through the installer. Our tools are designed to use py if it's available, but fallback to just python. When you have multiple versions of python installed, python may not refer to 3.7 and that would break the code.Create a new virtual env:If you have py, run py -3.7 -m venv .venvIf you only have python 3.7.9, run python -m venv .venvActivate the virtual env. Using powershell, run .venv\Scripts\activate.ps1Install the dev dependencies:pip install -r requirements/dev.txtEnvironment Setup (macOS)Python 3.7.9 is available as a package at Python 3.7.9 32-bit. However, if you have another version of python installed, it is highly recommended you get pyenv and install python 3.7 through there. It's likely to be a newer version of python 3.7.The easiest way to get pyenv is through Homebrew. This can be installed from Homebrew � The Missing Package Manager for macOS (or Linux)Then, from terminal, you can run brew install pyenvTo actually get python 3.7.9, run pyenv install 3.7.9. You can also use a newer version of 3.7, like 3.7.16 Finally, tell this project to use python 3.7.x for all python commands from this folder. pyenv local 3.7.9 or whatever newer version you used.Set up
