Everyone on deviantART has used an emoticon at least once in their deviantLife, so wouldn't it just make sense to know who created your favorites?jaMore importantly, having this option will hopefully also serve as adeterrant to ripping. Speaking as an emoticonist, I have seen a fair share of ripped emoticons submitted in the past that have been tweaked just enough (or not even enough at all) to try and be passed off as someone else's work. Same goes for other websites who like to use deviantART emoticons without permission. Most of the time, it used to just slide by, but hopefully with the sort by creator option, the original creator of a ripped emoticon can be notified, resulting in much less (or no more) emoticon ripping.But where do I come into all of this?Ah, glad you asked. Amidst all of my rambling, dygel and I need your help. Matching up deviantART's emoticons with their respective creators is not an easy task. After browsing though the entire emoticon gallery, we have matched up quite a nice amount. However, not all of them could be found and matched. So now, we ask you, the deviantART community, to lend
