Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2013 Posts: 10 Hi, I wonder wether, if I were to submit the log generated subsequent to a crash, anybody could help me find out what's wrong and the reason for the crashes?I ask this as I realize that there is no support as such for Winamp; Nullsoft, then AOL having washed their hands of it.If there is indeed help to be had, then I'll submit the crash dump files next crash.Thank you. Apparently, those days are over. (paging DrO, paging DrO ....)Email the dump files (use "help", above), if you haven't already.It is nearly impossible to solve problems without some basic information as a starting point.The local forum experts like to see an Info Report. It helps knowledgeable non-developers diagnose problems. Howzit....Whatzit...what tha...? How to tune up, and keep your Winamp player humming along. Search this Forum to find others who have driven down your road and have advice and tips to help you out. And some description of what was happening when the crash occured should be reported. People tend to ignore posts that say only; "Something bad happened. Here's some dump files. Please help".They want to know what you were doing, how you were doing it, file type, skin, system configuration, plug-ins, etc. ,etc., etc.Be concise, accurate and specific.
